Heimtextil: This Year

Every year, we arrive at Heimtextil with the same intent to look, to learn, and to understand how textiles are evolving across the world.

This year, we slow down.

We turn inward and draw from the age-old heritage crafts of India. Techniques that have been passed down over generations become our starting point, not as replicas of the past, but as foundations for something relevant today.

By blending printing, embroidery, and quilting, we translate these traditions into pieces made for modern homes and global markets.

Rooted in where we come from, and shaped by where the world is going this is our direction at Heimtextil.

Design, for us, is not only visual, it’s about how a product behaves through production and long after it reaches a home.

This season for IHGF, ours is rooted in seasonal and everyday designs, blended materials, and tactile surfaces.

At IHGF, we’re presenting a new range built around comfort and functional home linen products from functional bedding to innovative accessories.

Each development is created with consistency and reorderability in mind.

We believe growth comes from trying new things. There’s very little room here for “non-experimentation.”

While working on a recent creative project, our team member suggested: “Why don’t we show our entire room linen collection as if it came packed in a box, piece by piece, like a reveal?”

That thought sparked this Ai generated video. A bed being laid down layer by layer, each step carrying our own prints and finishes. A simple way to say: we make everything in soft linens for your room.

For us, this video shows it’s about a mindset. Listening to ideas, experimenting as a team, and finding new ways to bring our work to life. There are still many layers to be added, but we thought of sharing the WIP.

PS: We are trying to play catch-up with Ai, but this seems fun!!

On this Independence Day, we celebrate the freedom to create.

For us, it’s the freedom to design, develop, and produce in India bringing together the skills of our artisans, the strength of our manufacturing, and the trust of brands we work with around the world.

Every collection that leaves our workshop carries a part of this story Indian craft, Indian capability, and Indian pride.

Every fabric goes through in-house testing—yarn count, rubbing, shrinkage, pH, color fastness, and more.
Only after passing all quality checks do we move to production.
That’s how we ensure consistency, reliability, and trust. Batch after batch, order after order.
